INSECURITY IN NIGERIA : VOTE AND ROAST IN ANY FUTURE ELECTION IN YORUBALAND. OODUA REPUBLIC NOW! - By Daisi Ogunniyi, Lagos.

INSECURITY IN NIGERIA : VOTE AND ROAST IN ANY FUTURE ELECTION IN YORUBALAND. OODUA REPUBLIC NOW!

The Yoruba nation coexists with other ethnic groups before they were forced together in a 1914  amalgamation treaty with a 100years life line to become Nigeria, that treaty had expired in 2014.

The nationalist leaders that fought for Nigeria's independence inarguably agreed that Nigeria is a mere geographical expression coupled with the fact that the ethnic nationalities that make up the country are conscious of who and what they are as individual nations which greatly influence their allegiance and jostle for power, in spite of her federal constitution at independence. There was never a national consciousness of Nigerianity and there will never be. Nigeria remain a state, a pseudo Federal Union 60yearss after independence and nationhood would be illusive till eternity.

The mismanagement and overbearing influence on the polity by the Hausa/Fulani which the British handed power to, led to the wetie political crises in the SouthWest - Yorubaland, a military coup and an avoidable 30months civil war.

The Fulani aristocracy claimed they are born to rule, they administered Nigeria in their own interest through successive military dictatorship. And in line with their conscious agenda to prevent Awolowo - a Yoruba from ruling the country they annulled the most peaceful, freest, fairest and most credible elections in Nigeria history won by a Yoruba, chief MKO who they also killed in detention in an international conspiracy while fighting to retrieve his scuttled June 12, 1993 electoral mandate.

The Fulani hegemons imposed Obasanjo a stooge to placate the Yoruba when the military wing of the caliphate was chased out of power in 1999. They tried unsuccessfully to prevent a Goodluck Jonathan from completing the last 2years in the tenure of Obasanjo successor, Umaru Yar'Adua who had died in office. Muhammad Buhari a Fulani from Niger Republic from all indications pledged to soak the blood of the baboons in the sea, a violent rhetorics and contemptuous reference to other ethnic nationalities in the country when he lost the 2011 election to Goodluck Jonathan.

Unfortunately for Nigeria and the Yoruba in particular, Buhari won the 2015 presidential election and he covertly exhumed the islamisation/Fulanisation and annexation of all lands in the southern part of Nigeria, a continuation of the Islamic conquest started by Uthman Dan Fodio in 1804.

The bandits turned kidnappers is a creation of Buhari and the caliphate, as a plan B to make Nigeria ungovernable had Jonathan mistakenly won the 2015 presidential election. Realizing their man - Friday is in power the hegemons set to work, not only to Islamise Nigeria but to take over the entire mere geographical expression as a conquered territory.

They invade our farms, set it ablaze, rape our women, killed our Youths, kidnapped indiscriminately for ransome, take over our forest and now occupying our villages and towns. They killed Olú of Ifon, a first class Yoruba Ọba in Ondo State and recently threatened to invade and occupy Olú of Ilaro's palace. The lives and property of a Yoruba is no longer safe given the support and complicity of the Muhammadu Buhari, APC led Fulani Government of Nigeria.

Yoruba elected officials both elected and appointed kept silence in a conspiracy not to injure their 2023 electoral aspirations. If they cannot speak for us now they can never represents our collective yearnings and aspirations in 2023. In fact, the elite ruling class have never represented the yearnings, aspirations and the collective wishes of the Yoruba from 1999 till date.

If not blinded by morbid political ambitions, political gladiators in Yorubaland would  realized that the Fulani are hell bent in causing chaos in Yorubaland so they won't relinquish power to those they dangled the carrots of 2023 presidency in a gunboats diplomacy. Tinubu, Osibajo, Fayemi, Fashola and Aregbesola will not be president come 2003. The ongoing APC registration /revalidation is a waste of time of our people, a veil to cover their face from the real Fulani diabolic agenda.

The unity of our Ọbas, chiefs, politicians (regardless of political party affiliations) , students, youths, self determination groups is imperative to win the Fulani's war of conquest at our doorsteps. Our intellectuals, academicians, doctors, lawyers, business moguls, technocrats must come together, to speak in unison and provide the necessary, moral, financial, logistics and professional services and support to save our land and people from an inevitable war initiated by the Fulani hegemons.

When the bubble finally bursts the entire world will suffer the influx of refugees from a violently balkanize Nigeria. Thus, we call on the international community particularly the UN to supervise a National Referendum for a peaceful dissolution of the failed British project - Nigeria.

We call on all Yoruba to as a matter of historical responsibility be a mobilisers for a UN Referendum to dissolve Nigeria, the Fulani are not interested in peace or   election, they have acquired arms and ammunitions for war and they will continue to get more sophisticated weapons as long as Buhari continued to pay billions of naira as ransome for now orchestrated kidnappings.

SAY NO TO ANY FORM OF ELECTION IN YORUBALAND from now on. Don't allow your lives and property to be traded for politicians self interest and greed to make money and acquire more wealth.

We are not interested in any election that will continue to enslave us to the Fulani in Nigeria. Yorùbá social, political and economic progress, development and and prosperity lies in Oodua Republic. This is the cause we must and should struggle for, fight for and we must win by all means necessary.

It is either Fatherland or Death! OODUA REPUBLIC NOW !

YORUBA LEADERS SHOULD UNITE TO COMBAT UNPRECEDENTED INSECURITY IN THE LAND - ALAFIN

YORUBA LEADERS SHOULD UNITE TO COMBAT UNPRECEDENTED INSECURITY IN THE LAND - ALAFIN

INSECURITY HAS NEVER BEEN THIS BAD....., says Alaafin, Iku Baba Yeye

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111, has decried the current level of insecurity, saying the country has never had it this bad.

The monarch, in a statement on Sunday, likened the current situation to the 1967 crisis during the early period of military interregnum.

He said the current situation requires that all Yoruba leaders should come together irrespective of political differences and speak with one voice as done in the days of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Oba Adeyemi said restructuring of Nigeria is a major solution, which Yoruba should push further this time.

The statement, which he personally signed, reads: “If there is anytime the Yoruba should come together and speak with one voice, this really is the time.

“Whether in terms of security or human welfare including safety of lives and property, I make bold to say that things have never been so bad in the country. This time is really an era of ethno-religious suspicion among our various communities.

“The present state of national uncertainty can best be compared with the situation in 1967 during the political crisis during the leadership of General Gowon.

“I recall with pleasant nostalgia that during the time, Yoruba leaders across different political parties sank their political differences and met in Ibadan under the governorship of General Adeyinka Adebayo.

“On that occasion, Yoruba unanimously chose the sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo not only as leader but as the authentic spokesman of the Yoruba. It was the success of Awolowo leadership that kept the Yoruba away from any kind of civil war in spite of all temptations.

“Coming back to the present, suffice to say that the word restructuring, which we are all demanding now is not a new phenomenon in our national polity; only that it has changed its name.

“Thanks to the political foresight of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo who, at all constitutional conferences in the pre-independence years, insisted on true federalism as the bedrock of political survival and stability of the country.

“On account of that ideological doggedness, he was called so many names, including being a tribalist by his political opponents.

“History cannot forget so soon the Owo meeting when Afenifere under the leadership of Awolowo was ideologically perfected for the welfare of the people.

“The ideological blueprint of Afenifere were based on:

1. education of all children of school age and the general enlightenment of all illiterate adults and children above school age.

2. provision of health and general welfare for all people and the total abolition of want in our society by means of economic policies which were both expedient and effective.

“I understand it was their concept of love for mankind that the word Afenifere was coined. It is on a very happy note that in contemporary time, we still have disciples of original Afenifere with Awo’s doggedness and determination in pursuing public welfare interest without any hope of material gain

“From the days of Pa Michael Adekunle Ajasin down to Abraham Adesanya and now Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the Afenifere leadership has always been consistent in pursuing political leadership for the Yoruba race.

“In this respect, one thing I share with them in our national polity is restructuring. The present system we are running is more unitary than federal. The situation in which the state is totally handicapped for security logistics of the state cannot be the dream of our political fore-bears.”

WE WANT OODUA REPUBLIC, NOT INTERESTED IN NIGERIA - MAKANJUOLA

WE WANT OODUA REPUBLIC, NOT INTERESTED IN NIGERIA--Makanjuola

A Yoruba self determination activist Adigun Makanjuola has once again restated the resolve of a very large percentage of Yoruba youths who are no longer interested in the lopsided and failing Nigeria state. "We the oppressed indigenous people of the Yoruba Nation who are advocating and peacefully fighting for self- determination of our people are never in anyway interested in any intervention of the pan Nigerian political and traditional class"

Makanjuola reinstated the believe that the Yoruba particularly the youths have lost total confidence and have no trust in Yoruba elites whose morbid political aspirations for 2023 presidency and other electoral offices are in sharp contrast to the genuine yearnings and aspirations of the Yoruba for a sovereign Oodua Republic.

The Yoruba politicians self seeking agenda is to save Nigeria and continue to eat crumbs from the Fulani caliphate, those "whose ideological and current canvassed positions contradicts or oppose the  Yoruba struggle for a sovereign  homeland" are betrayals of our collective struggle for Oodua republic, he said

UN should supervised peaceful dissolution of Nigeria - COSEG

UN should supervised peaceful dissolution of Nigeria - COSEG

NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE : A CALL FOR NATIONAL REFERENDUM SUPERVISED BY THE UN FOR A PEACEFUL DISSOLUTION.

( COSEG Press release):

   18th February,2021.

COSEG, the coalition of Yoruba self determination groups frown at the unabashed nepotism and favoritism of General Muhammadu Buhari led APC federal government in addressing the burning issue of insecurity of lives and properties that has engulfed the skewed Federal Republic Of collapsing Nigeria. The reported military invasion of Orlu an Igbo community is a reopening of a healing wound ,we view it as barbaric, callous, wicked, and is considered as a calculated attempt to externimate the Igbo nation even 51years after the end of the Nigerian Civil War.

To us in COSEG, the Igbo people have the fundamental rights to protect themselves from unchecked killer Fulani herdsmen and banditry, given the fact that the Nigerian state led by General Muhammadu Buhari, Prof. Yemi Osibajo and others have failed in its constitutional responsibility to protect lives and property of the citizenry from armed brigands. It is a clear act of nepotism for the  Buhari led federal government to have unleashed the Nigerian army on Igbo land when the same government did not stopped armed herders with AK47, killing, maiming and raping people with impunity in the Southern part of the country.

We have been convinced beyond reasonable doubt that “ President “ Buhari has succeeded through his unmitigated non charllant attitude to good governance, which has reduced all semblance of a national governance to a Fulani Federal Government because till date no known bandits leaders have been arrested and prosecuted, same way their known camps and enclaves have not been bombarded by the Nigerian security apparatus controlled and given directives by the Buhari presidency.

The invasion of Orlu by the army is a clear contradiction to the statement of the Minister of Defence, who stated that Nigerians have the right to repel bandits aggression. The same government that said security is a collective responsibility and Nigerians should not act cowardly but rise to defend themselves now invaded Orlu because Igbo people created ESN to defend their land and people.

COSEG noted that despite the public outcry  that a Fulani bandit Iskilu Wakili has become a law unto himself at Ayete in Ibarapa area of Oyo State, the Federal government controlled police force have not deem it necessary to curb Wakili act of terrorism in the area. Whereas, when Sunday Ìgbòho Adeyemo intervened in similar situation at Igangan to put a stop to the Séríkí and his men atrocities both the IG and the Oyo state CP threatened fire and brimstone to arrest him. As the security agents failed to stop Wakili, we call on our people in the area to defend themselves and our fatherland from the Fulani who had fallaciously claimed that that all land in Nigeria belonged to the landless wanderers.

Thus, COSEG call on all Yoruba both at home and in the diaspora to mobilise for a National Referendum to be supervised by the United Nation towards a peaceful dissolution of the failed Nigeria state. We the Yoruba are endangered in Nigeria with the desperation of the Buhari presidency to force RUGA down our throats and the attendant Fulani agenda to forcefully take over our ancestral land.  COSEG call on all freedom fighters in Yewa to rise up and take back their land forcefuly taken by the Fulani with full complicity of an army of occupation.

COSEG at this point view the grave silence of Yoruba political elites at this critical moment as unpardonable conspiracy with the ruling Hausa/ Fulani Oligarchy, especially in the face of Fulani unrelenting attacks against their people.

COSEG strongly commends Arákùnrin Akeredolu for his patriotic commitment to his people’s safety and his historic adoption of O’odua anthem.

We shall not hesitate to put all our members on red alert across Nigeria, particularly in Yoruba nation against any eventuality, even as we are eternally prepared to defend our humanity, our nation. Our pride.
